Kansas City is fortunate to have a strong Jewish day school system. The Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Academy is a community day school that serves students from pre-school through the 12th grade on a beautiful campus it shares with the Jewish Community Center of Kansas City. The campus is only three miles from the eruv.

Melton School The Florence Melton Adult Mini-School is a world pioneer in the field of adult Jewish education. With its international headquarters at the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School Institute of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem www.huji.ac.il , and a national office for North America in Northbrook, IL, the Mini-School, a social franchise, forms an international network of community based schools offering adults the opportunity to acquire Jewish literacy in an open, trans-denominational, intellectually stimulating learning environment The Florence Melton Adult Mini-School is the largest pluralistic adult Jewish education network in the world. Founded in 1986 at the initiative of Florence Zacks Melton, a community activist and longtime supporter of Jewish education, the Mini-School initially opened with three pilot sites in North America. Driven by her vision, there are now 62 Mini-Schools in 60 cities throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia, attended weekly by some 5,500 students.
Community Kollel of Kansas City The objective of the Kollel is to further enhance the opportunities for Judaic learning and study in KC. A positive experience in Torah learning will serve to benefit the Jewish Community as a whole. Many of our teenagers at BIAV look to the Kollel for one-on-one learning and enhanced study.
The KC Kollel has been developed specifically for the entire KC Jewish Community. The Kollel will provide classes, seminars, small group discussions and one-on-one learning opportunities. From the Jewish alphabet to advanced Talmud, from basic tenets of Jewish belief to the Torah portion of the week and Jewish Mysticism. The Kollel will provide a variety of Jewish educational opportunities. The Kollel will be held in a variety of convenient settings, which will be geared to all members of the KC Community regardless of background and Jewish educational level.

Over the past 34 years, Chabad House Center has earned a reputation as a first class provider for much needed educational and social services to the community. With special emphasis on youth, Chabad House Center has developed countless innovative programs to excite and inspire Jewish youth with a sense of pride in our rich Jewish heritage. They are known for reaching out to all segments of the community, including individuals who, by and large, are not reached by other area social organizations.
